Neon Drift League
★★★★☆ 4.3
Neon Drift League goes for feel over realism, and it nails it. Every corner is an invitation to drift, and the game rewards you for holding one as long as your nerve lasts. Boost fills as you slide, so the risky line is also the fast one.
Controls are tilt or on-screen buttons, and both work. I preferred the buttons for precision, but tilt makes the whole thing feel more playful. Tracks are short and readable, which is exactly what you want when you're racing during a lunch break.
The car handling has a satisfying weight to it once you learn the grip limits. It's not deep, but it's the good kind of shallow — instantly fun, easy to pick up, hard to master.
What we liked
- Drift-first handling that feels great
- Short, readable tracks for quick sessions
- Both tilt and button controls done right
